About Chelin

Chelin Liu is a multi-instrumentalist and also serves as the band's lead guitarist/vocalist.He used to work as an editor for publish house and also photography.

In addition to guitar he plays drums and bass.For while, he also does work on the electronic side of THE J.S.D, working on computer-generated sounds and sampling. He is studying in NEW YORK CITY and also does current project and his solo works.

他們住在這裡。一些來自印度的咖哩食品，
一些肉桂香。羅斯褔路和７號地鐵的交錯。
然後，他們過街上車下車。無視交通號誌，
如地道裡的老鼠跑竄。努力的工作。他們談
笑，鄙視。如同許多前來大城市的，膚色將
他們被領往這裡。老鼠仍舊忙碌。來自馬奎
斯的城市的那些他們。外送，廚務，玉米餅
及些許美味的碎牛肉。而他們又會遇見另一
些他們。酒吧裡歡樂，無關語言的那些，然
後他們以相同的酒精交換不同種族的身體。
掠奪，色情業。東亞式的面孔漸漸成了主流。
老鼠，困惑了。然後，老鼠叨啣著裝裹宮保
雞丁飯的便當。地上的嘔吐物還散著啤酒的
酸味。地上的垃圾，有著卡拉OK的收據。東
亞式的流行。而所有的他們走路，交談，小
團體，進食，剔牙，爭吵，做愛，成為死亡。
像轉動唱盤的輪軸那樣循還著。

關於那些嬌情的眼光

　　想起兩年前，我於出版社從事責編的困苦趕稿時期，我與T時常討論起電影，直到他被我扯進搖滾之前，我們總以此為話題的起始（此外，還有棒球以及生活周邊的那些光怪陸離缺邊缺角之事）。
　　
　　一天，T問我，倘若今天我有一大筆錢，足夠讓我享受拍攝各種類型的電影的樂趣。在只有一部電影作品的條件限制下，我會選擇什麼樣的電影來滿足我個人的快感以及票房的成就感？突然，覺得難以答覆這樣的問題，它在那瞬刻變得好艱深。而我想，是要來一部灑狗血的情慾電影，還是搞個一部像史丹利那樣高超的類型片經典；哦，不然來一部變型金剛女強人版，把柯博文化為女性，令它甩著鐵奶變型同時追殺惡魔黨！想著想著，自己都覺得俗套起來。那麼，就拍一部文藝片吧，像那些偉大的台灣本土導演一樣攢研生命或同性間的奧妙…，但似乎又太過於嬌作。其實到最後，我和T皆想，有錢不如就拍一部如不可能的任務那樣的動作電影，過過癮嘛！即便有人聞之而嗤之以鼻。

　　我想，對每個人的品味而言，似乎不在於作品的價值，反而受到一般流行世俗的眼光所影響。Baow Baow告訴我，她從未畫上一張畫是基於心情上的舒發，但有趣的是，經過她的擁有獨到藝術眼光的老師解釋後，原本只是一隻在啃咬骨頭的狗成了一個正在惡意侵蝕傍惶無助靈魂的精神象徵，就像一輩都在模彷別人繪畫風格的波拉克，也會因為無助而失意地將油彩潑至畫布而令他能在當代藝術界成為一位重要的現代派畫家。但那些所謂有著藝文眼光的人總會說，哇哦，波拉克耶！接著開始他們的獨道見解。這種藏於價值背後的狼狽竟能讓許多文藝青年崇拜著，可見這樣的眼光都世俗、嬌情了，這樣一來與流行俗套有何無異。

　　很多人創作，他們拍攝、作曲、繪畫、設計及許多許多，但這些人不過就是為做而做，從不覺得酷。反而人們開始覺得這種東西有深度有色彩有藝術價值有趣有獨立感有特色有一種無與倫比的獨特感，而人們評斷藝文作品以展現自我。說穿了，這些東西只不過是在嬌情眼光下的瑣事。

As I compose for a Fashion show

Hi there, look at the topic. Apparently, this project is going to be my first music style which I have never done before. Now, I`m proudly writing this to show the beginning intro of the song I made is incredible. The beats are pretty awesome than what I had expected, and sounds juicy, very reach kick drum sound. I have to thank for the invention of equalizer and compressor. Oh..yet Rober Moog (What else I can say? He is a genius! )

走過了留學的第二個年頭

　　老實說，實在沒有什麼太大的不同。在紐約一年半的時間就僅靠著我對於筆記型電腦的依賴而度過，念完書了，實習完了，甚至我做了幾個吃力不討好的工作。不知那來的能量可以一直讓我維持著創作的狀態，為此，我開始怛心著未來，如果失敗，我必需從那裡再站起來，人生似乎就是這麼困難。

Thom`s new band ?

He was apparently moving quicker than his own organization. The news release issued for the Orpheum, the morning after Mr. Yorke’s statement, reassured fans: “Radiohead is not breaking up.” - From New York Time

　　基本上，是個很有趣的組合。

　　在十月初，Yorke先生與Flea先生（From Red hot Chili Peppers），以及其它來自別團體的樂手們組成了一個因為組織太快而還未命名的樂團，已在Los Angeles的Orpheum Theater表演完了。演出的內容以Yorke的個人專輯 The Eraser的歌曲為主，並穿插一些未發表過的新歌。

The Boat that Rocked

　　一部將要上映，而且喜愛搖滾的人，你一定要看的電影（其實也並沒死都要看的並要）！！

　　基本上，它只會是一部詼諧幽默，且極度商業的電影。導演Richard Curtis是個只拍拍熱賣商業電影的傢伙（Notting Hill導演），但當Philip Seymour Hoffman 參與演出時，你實在會不想錯過這樣一部以音樂為背景的電影（特別是你若看過他在『成名在望』裡演過一位樂評家的角色後），Philip一定是個相當愛聽 rock的傢伙。

　　The official synopsis of the film before release stated that it tells the fictional story about a group of DJs in 1966 who are at odds with a traditionalist British government that prefers to broadcast jazz. However, the film upon release says nothing about jazz on the BBC.

　　Instead it compares the restricted and very limited non-recorded music output of the British Broadcasting Corporation's three radio services of 1966, with a very liberal station. It should be noted that when offshore broadcasting began off England in 1964, the musical output and style of presentation of the first station (Radio Caroline), was very similar to the BBC Light Programme.

　　That station broadcast mainly during the daytime at first and while the BBC relied heavily on orchestras and bands playing in its studios, Radio Caroline played a wide variety of recorded music interspersed with commercial advertising. The situation in Britain changed when Don Pierson of Texas created three offshore stations whose output was based upon American commercial radio. During the entire period from 1964 to 1967, British commercial radio attempted to maintain a highly respectable business image and the stations continued to play a wide variety of music (unlike the fictitious 'Radio Rock'.)
