About Chelin

Chelin Liu is a multi-instrumentalist and also serves as the band's lead guitarist/vocalist.He used to work as an editor for publish house and also photography. In addition to guitar he plays drums and bass.For while, he also does work on the electronic side of THE J.S.D, working on computer-generated sounds and sampling. As a sound/recording engineer, He is recording and composing for his indie rock band. he has also done with live recording for a female singer, and has been composing and producing a runway music for Cheng-Huai Chuang F/W 2010 Collection.

J.S.D are an Taiwan alternative rock band formed by their earlier members whose name is Chelin{guitarist/vocalist} and Jade{guitarist/vocalist} in the summer at 2004. They both used to be very intimate friend sort of brotherhood. This group became an avocational band. They still keep going toward their goal with their patience, even the guitarist Chelin now is studying in NEW YORK. The band influenced by English rock and alternative rock trends such as shoegazing and brit-pop in the 90..s. They are also influenced by instrument rock and post rock, Chelin and Jade love to create guitar noise field with experiment sound in the song. By the early year, J.S.D was tough to practice and record their debut songs. In fact, each member was facing an hard time of entering the military. The band was stop by members leaving until now. In 2008, J.S.D was just reformed and they trying to come up with interesting song, so now their music is composed of emotionally driven melodies, stemming from the different influences, and music backgrounds each member attributes. Their music focuses on a variety of topics linked to human behavior, sociology and the mind as a collective entity. 樂團家族
